The creation of the new commercial glass-division, AAG (Al Abbar Architectural Glass) is intended to separate the glass division in order to serve the construction market as an autonomous glass-processing company, answering competently on enquiries, technical requirements and perform technical and performance studies to customers in the UAE, GCC and various export markets.

The glass factory uses the most up-to-date glass-processing equipment to guarantee top quality end-products that are used extensively in curtain-walls, doors, windows, skylights, balustrades, frameless assemblies and glass-floors, stairs etc…

Since the beginning of 2001 the company has embarked on an ambitious program for a vast and systematic expansion of the glass division.

The initial investment in glass-processing equipment included for the UAE’s most sophisticated double glazing line with dual robotized secondary sealant applicator, followed by the installation & commissioning of the laminating line which covers dimensions up to 2500mm x 4500mm picture.

To complement the above , Al Abbar did not hesitate to stretch its faith in the future of Dubai , by resolutely investing in a latest generation bending and tempering plant that manufactures bent glass without the use of moulds for thicknesses ranging from 6mm to 15mm. The further addition of a brand new heat soak testing oven only shows the overall commitment from Al Abbar to support the market in its quest for quality products.

All AAG’s manufacturing processes are governed under a strict ISO: 9001 regime, where all individual processes are tested under the stringent and relevant CEN standards. The ambition of the Al Abbar Architectural Glass is to become totally self-sufficient and cement its leadership in the glass industry.
