AL ABBAR GROUP (Al Abbar Aluminium, AAG & Al Abbar Stainless Co.) takes part in this year's largest and premiere airport equipment and technologies event - AIRPORT SHOW 2007. Held at the Airport Expo Dubai from 28–30 May 2007, the event offered suppliers a unique forum to meet with civil aviation officials, consultants and contractors from across the region. With over 500 companies participating, AAG stood prominently as a leading supplier of glass products with its highly stylized exhibition booth of glass, curved, printed and sandblasted fused with stainless steel.

Opening the event is none other than His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President, Department of Civil Aviation, Dubai; Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline Group and Khalifa Al Zaffin, Dubai's Director Engineering of Dubai Civil Aviation (DCA) with other officials,  organizers, and guests visiting from various countries. More than 500 exhibitors and 5,000 industry visitors from the worldwide aviation sector participated in the 2007 event, giving it a 25% rise compared last year.

Now on its seventh year, organizers reported the Airport Show the annual growth of the show due to the unprecedented and intensified development of aviation and airport development sectors in the Middle East, India and Africa.  'The increase in airport development across the region has been fuelled by a marked upturn in tourist arrivals and airline expansions in the Middle East,' said Nick Webb, director of Streamline Marketing Group
