Al Abbar Opens India Office

Al Abbar Group had just recently opened another satellite office, Al Abbar Architectural Metal and Glass (AAMG) last month. "In keeping with the multinational expansion program of the Group, our new office in Mumbai began functioning on July 01, 2008", says Karim Lilani, Al Abbar Group's Financial Advisor. "The Mumbai link will form an important back-office for the Group's design and engineering activities, augmenting the Dubai and Philippine offices." He further adds. This latest addition to Al Abbar's goup of companies serves as another milestone in the company's 20 year history of continuous growth and expansion. But why India? "We plan to gradually foray into the booming Indian and regional market bringing in our high value products and curtain wall expertise", according to Lilani. No doubt, India is now enjoying its own share of progress. With the country's economy steady increasing every year, India is setting up huge developments across its domain. This can be distinguished by a number of planned infrastructure developments going on. "India also offers a rich resource of manpower that we would like to tap", he adds. By establishing a local presence, Al Abbar has found a means to connect to India's rich labor force. Now, recruiting people will be straightforward, as the new office serves a link of the parent company in Dubai to employ professionals that could further elevate the company's business interest whether in Dubai or in their home country.
